Lalya was accepted to the “DIY for CHI: Methods, Communities, and Values of Reuse and Customization” workshop at CHI 2009, with the fuse beads NES controller that she had made for it as a submission. The workshops deals with DIY and crafting as design pratices in the context of human-computer interaction, and will take place in Boston, USA on 5th April 2009.
