Dånk friend Produkt is organizing PRAXIS 3: On the future of the art institution. Discussion Wednesday August 20, 2008 at Röhsska muséet, Gothenburg 17.00-21.00. During the Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival.

“PRAXIS wants to strengthen art from within by stimulating the artistic and political discussion. We hope to create a place for dialogue between artists, theorists, decision-makers and audience.

PRAXIS 3 opens with reflections around the institution as a political concept followed by a performative lecture about the artists as pets. The discussion participants are divided into small groups at different tables. At each table there is a “listener” analyzing and summarizing the different debates. As audience you can choose which discussion to participate in and you can change tables at any time. The discussions will be in English.
