New Media Meeting 2009

Dånk! will participate in the seminar “Public Life” at New Media Meeting on Friday May 29, together with Ramia Maze, Jonathan Harris and Unsworn Industries. The talk will discuss: Does new media enable new forms of social expression and communication? How might broadcast and interactive media stimulate new interactions within and across communities? What are the private and public interests that might be (under)represented? What can art and design do in relation to societal, humanitarian and environmental issues?

Later in the evening, Nim (Alex Berman) will perform live.

New Media Meeting is an annual international media art festival taking place in Norrköping, Sweden. The festival premiered in 2006 and is devoted to innovative works and projects in electronic art, media, music and visualization.
