Bike installation at Caminovenue#2

Sweden’s first sustainable-lifestyle magazine Camino commissioned Dånk! to produce an installation on the topic of bicycles and power generation for their 2nd Caminovenue fair about health and sustainable living.

By pedaling the visitor would light up a large number of LED-diodes. The power also generated a vibrating surface consisting of a speaker and vibrating liquid, under which the lights were mounted and that created light patterns according to pedaling speed and resulting vibration patterns. All material used during the construction, except for the bicycle, were re-used or recycled. Dånk! aims to continue working with similar power-sustainable projects.

This installation was showed during the Caminovenue fair on 5th April 2008 at Scandic Rubinen in Göteborg.
