Battlefield 5.0 was a development of the project Battlefield that was created at the Art Academy in Gothenburg, with the purpose to challenge art with street art, with open critique and a dialogue between participants as the main values. This time another ingredient was added, sound and music. The emphasize in this exhibition was on the dialogue between the artists, the piece and the audience. The idea was to take the spectator into an art work that was constantly moving and speaking. The artists were working together with several pieces, and with separate pieces where they could speak with their own voices, but always in dialogue and cooperation with the others. The sound artist Nim created a piece that went in direct dialogue with the paintings and the painters, but also lived its own life as an art piece.
